The legislative season is now upon us. See the schedule below for hearings this week.
Important Updates:
Please note that the new lead bill, which is by far the most important bill of this season, is still being negotiated. So please don’t pay too much attention to the bill that will be on line shortly. The lead commission sub committee and full committee could easily have a large rewrite of the landlord/tenant sections of the bill before it comes to public hearing.
We will start to prepare you once “the dust settles” a little bit more. Lately, the discussions have been encouraging and surprisingly we may end of will a final bill we can support.
However, please be prepared to show up strong to fight it depending on what comes out of these final committee meetings.
